Mariachi Workshops

Registration is now Closed.

The 17th Annual San José International Mariachi Festival Workshop is a three-day conference featuring workshops in Mariachi Music, Voice and Ballet Folklórico Dance.

All mariachi instrumental and vocal classes will be instructed and directed by members of world renowned Mariachi Cobre, direct from Walt Disney World.

Ballet Folklórico Dance will feature instruction by acclaimed choreographers José Tena from Las Cruces, New Mexico and Maria Luisa Colmenarez of San José, California.

All music and dance classes will be taught at multiple levels of instruction in order to meet the skill level of each student. In addition, students will enjoy various uplifting performance opportunities at La Feria del Mariachi park event, the Student Showcase, and the main Gala Concert.

All educational conference events are sure to energize and motivate students to further their awareness and appreciation for the Mariachi and Ballet Folklórico art forms.
