The heart of the San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival is the outdoor feria. This year, thanks to Target, we’re able to open up this phenomenal event for FREE! So bring the whole family and all the friends you can round up to enjoy Mexican food, Mexican art vendors, family activities, and three stages of the very best of Mexican music and dance.

Before the Feria, stop by Cathedral Basilica of Saint Joseph (80 S. Market Street, San Jose, CA) for a special Mariachi Mass at 10:00 am, sponsored by Lima Family-Erickson Memorial Chapel on Willow Street in Willow Glen, San José; Oak Hill Memorial Park and Mortuary in San José; and Redwood Chapel in Redwood City.

ZERO1: The Art and Technology Network
Don't miss this special installation of work by contemporary Latino artists, including:
- HOMiNG: A thought-provoking, interactive space designed by Pilar Agüero-Esparza.
- GAMiNG: A cyberlounge curated by net artist Arcángel Constantini.
- SHOCKiNG: Arcángel Constantini will audio-electrocute volunteers with his mobile icpiticayotl box.
- REFUNDiNG: Gustavo Romano brings his "Lost Time Refund Office" performance project to the U.S. for the first time.
Mata Ortiz pottery
Master potter Pilo Mora will sell his wares and demonstrate this wonderful art form at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm.
Sustainable Building
Bill and Athena Steen of the Canelo Project will create a mini-project on site. Stop by their booth throughout the day to watch or participate.
