The San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival prides itself on presenting some of the world’s greatest artists in unique concert events that you just can’t experience anywhere else.

September 26 Mariachi Goes to the Movies Concert
A Tribute to the Golden Era of Mexican Film

Mariachi superstars Aida Cuevas and Mariachi Cobre perform a tribute to the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, joined by Mariachi Festival Workshop students and MHC’s own Los Lupeños de San José, celebrating their 40th anniversary! Tickets on sale now.
September 27 Feria del Mariachi
Presented by Target
Downtown San José's Plaza de Cesar Chavez
Market Street between San Fernando and San Carlos
10:00 am – 6:30 pm
Three stages of Mexican regional and traditional music, folk dancing, family activities, artisans, Mexican food, and much more. Thanks to a generous contribution from Target, this year, we are able to open up the outdoor feria for FREE to the public! Bring the whole family and enjoy the best of Mexican culture.

Before the Feria, stop by Cathedral Basilica of Saint Joseph (80 S. Market Street, San Jose, CA) for a special Mariachi Mass at 10:00 am, sponsored by Lima Family-Erickson Memorial Chapel on Willow Street in Willow Glen, San José; Oak Hill Memorial Park and Mortuary in San José; and Redwood Chapel in Redwood City.
September 27 A Concert Tribute to Cesar Chavez
Featuring Los Lobos and Little Joe y La Familia
with special guest Carlos Santana
